I decided that today would also be the day that I ventured to Africa on Second LIfe, and see how realistic it was. First of all, there was not one person present in the land. There weren't any animal noises, or scorching hot sun. The one thing I did like, however, was the fact that I could walk through a desert and not fear for my life that I giant animal was going to eat me. It was extremely unrealistic in the sense that I actually when up to an elephant, and scorpions, and hippos, and they didn't even move. I feel like a good addition to Second Life would for them to implement a fact system, where when you go to a destination you could click on an animal or a landmark and it will tell you about it.
