Last night, I went on Second Life with the goal to find a world that satisfied an interest of mine: TV. I found one that had a sub header which detailed a place that you are surrounded by all sorts of media (Tv, movies, etc.) so I ventured there. The weird thing about Second Life that I particularly don't like is that whenever you transport somewhere, it never drops you off in the exact location that you requested. It usually drops me off in the middle of the woods or something similar. Anyways, I went into this huge building that boasted a world of TV and movies. Some movie I didn't know was playing on all of the walls and ceilings. Layed out in front of me it had options to view Hulu player, web browser, and youtube. When I clicked Hulu, it asked me if I wanted to open up Hulu in a separate web browser. I figured the point of this domain was so that my avatar could watch shows in Second Life, but instead it opened a new browser. I was extremely annoyed with the situation because it would take me about 1/10th the amount of time to just open up Hulu alone. I found another option that allowed you to actually watch Hulu from the Second Life window, but naturally it cost money.
