Practicum #3- Tony Porter

I played for about 3 hours again yesterday. This time me and my roommate played together because the game allows you to play split screen. I found this to be pretty fun. It's a lot easier to work in team games when someone is sitting right next to you. We were able to work better together than communicating over the mic. This is probably because not everyone listens to you just because you talk on the mic but you can also see where the person is by looking at their screen and you can tell them what to do. Also, it's juts more fun to play with friends. We ran into a group of players that loved to "troll." The group would continually talk trash before games, between game rounds and after the game. Personally, I love it when this happens. I guess I am just a competitive person so when someone eggs me on it just makes me want to win more. They also have creative insults sometime that genuinely make me laugh. I also think it is interesting when people make wild racist or discriminatory statements on Xbox live. The anonymity of a gamertag allows people to say whatever they want without ever really have to account for it. I like to call these people out and say they would never say that to someone's face to see their reactions and they usually just shut up quickly, or unfortunately yell more racist remarks. Questions for my presentation will be up later today.
