Today I spent a couple hours blogging on my personal homepage. I added four posts: current song, current book, current tv show, and current movie. I talked about the things I am reading and watching right now, basically giving them a review. To the right is a picture of my Current Song blog post. I tried searching for myself on Google again, to see if my webpage is easily accessible. I thought it would get more hits because I added my URL to Google, but, unfortunately, that does not seem to be the case. There are too many famous people with my name, like an author and a car racer. I'm sure if I kept going through the pages, I would find my webpage eventually. Luckily, I am now officially a member of the Entertainment Ring I requested to join. That means that I am linked to 233 other sites, which greatly increases my site's probability of being seen. I have also gotten some people to become members of my site. I invited some of my friends, family, and family friends to view my profile via email invites. They then had the option to become members of my profile. I'm not exactly sure what being a member entails, but I'm pretty sure I have the option of changing my website settings so members can comment on my posts. I have recently started applying for summer jobs, so I added my personal home page to my resume, which I then gave to several future employers. This will give them the opportunity to see my resume online, and hopefully get a good sense of my personality through my blog posts.
