Practicum #5- Holly

Since my presentation, I have spent a couple hours working on my personal home page. I edited my profile, which is different than my web page. I uploaded a profile picture and entered some basic information about myself, basically the same kind of stuff you enter on Facebook. It is nice that webs.com allows you to have a profile, not just a web page, because that way you can view others' profiles who use webs.com. If you find others with similar profiles you can link to them. This goes back to what we've read for homework and discussed in lecture, about how who you link to is a reflection on yourself. I have also added a new page to my website. Your profile also shows your recent activity and allows you to post comments, so it's pretty similar Facebook, actually (see picture). I added a blog page, basically because I need to have more text on my site, but also because I've never blogged before and I think it might be kind of fun. I have not made a blog yet, but I am planning on blogging about film, television, music, and books that I like. I have also finally found a date to take a beginniner's HTML class. So on April 4th I will be learning some basic codes.
