I decided to look back at one of the Wikis I found when I was first messing around with them at the beginning of the semester. Foodista.com does not look like a typical Wiki. Instead, it just looks like a well-put-together website dedicated to cooking. If I stumbled upon this on my own, without looking specifically for Wikis I would never categorize this as one. So, it made me wonder what makes a Wiki a Wiki? And, the conclusion I have come up with is the simple fact that anyone can edit it. There are weekly Top Editors and a tab for Recent Changes. I had yet to contribute to any of the Wikis I have been exploring, but I decided to make my mark tonight: a recipe for Nutella cookies (yum!)
