I have used Stumble pretty often in the past. It's a great time waster or something to do to help me fall asleep. You can definitely customize what kind of links or pages you want to see and for the most part I am not usually disappointed. Stumble is similar to Reddit in that it helps direct you to obscure videos or websites that can often turn out to be pretty cool. Reddit gives you more of controlled experience in that you can choose which forums and subforums you want to browse through, but the links are chosen or created by reddit users. Stumble is more random and can sometimes disappoint, but you get more than just memes, articles, videos, or random back and forths between members. In that respect it is also not as socially interactive as Reddit. Personally Reddit appeals to me because of my often short attention span. It has pictures or short comics and quick thoughts or questions from members that are easy to scan through. Stumble has introduced me to some pretty good websites that are worth exploring though and the element of surprise and not controlling my web surfing experience is nice sometimes.
