Blog 4- Google

When I Googled myself the first thing that came up was an ad for a Holly Wallace who works at Merill Lynch as a financial advisor. The second thing that came up was a Model Mayhem profile for a Holly Wallace. I have never heard of Model Mayhem before, but it basically looks like a bunch of profiles of semi-pornographic models. There were various other social network applications that appeared on the first page with my name. There was LinkedIn, MySpace, flickr, Facebook, and twitter. None of them were linked to me. There were also a lot of images of Holly Wallace, who appears to be some sort of professional motorcycle driver. As I scrolled through the pages I came across various blogs, phone book pages, and a lot of Google books sites with Holly Wallace as the author. There was a really interesting Holly Wallace photography site, which I enjoyed. I only went through the first 5 pages, but I was happy to find that there wasn't anything that linked to me. I don't want anyone to be able to search and find my profiles, namely Facebook. I was disappointed that my personal home page didn't show up, but webs.com said that was typical when you first add your URL to Google because there haven't been many hits yet.
