This has been a fun semester. I reached the last level in Black Ops yesterday and it was fitting since this is the end. You're allowed to "Prestige" which means you can start all over, you lose any guns, killstreaks, perks, etc. that you purchased with the in game point system. I definitely will not be doing this since I don't really care about re-acquiring the guns and other things. I put too much time in to care about starting over. It was fun while it lasted but I doubt I will continue to play this game much more.
I definitely exceeded the 15 necessary hours that were required. I like video games but this one definitely draws you in for longer than you would expect. Many times I found myself playing three hours at a time on the weekends, during the day of course. This probably could be attributed to the fact that games typically last 15 minutes, which means 12 games in three hours. Overall I thought this project was really fun. I think it was a great idea to let us slowly research a topic. It allowed us to discover something new on our own which is usually a good learning experience.
Seems like you definitely won out with practicum projects. It seems pretty easy to log long hours playing video games. Of course its all subjective. I personally have a hard time playing video games for longer than an hour and I know some people our age who cant get into video games at all because they feel like it makes them feel dumber or something. COD for me is too hard because its too fast. Playing online is intimidating because so many people online are so good and show no mercy to newer players. I prefer games that dont need lightning quick reflexes.
