I found something interesting the other day regarding the use of the movie forums as a place to illegally share music.
One area of the forum is dedicated to helping solve what song is playing in the background of any given trailer (which can be extremely helpful). Some, however, have taken an extra step and after finding a song for someone, "share" the file with them too.
Apparently the moderators are being threatened by the music industry that if illegal sharing doesn't stop then the site will be shut down. So moderators have been banning some people (most who don't know the rule) and having to delete posts (which then causes confusion).
Even posting information as to how to download the song is enough to get booted.
