Practicum #6- Tony Porter
I've picked up on a lot of the lingo that the community has on this game. People who are sometimes working together on a team will do what are called "call outs." This is where they tell the team where they have seen opponents or other objective based directions. These generally help the team as they can plan what to do with more information. But there specific vocabulary that people use. Some people call less experienced players noobs. I don't see a lot of this but enough to notice. Other people are known as "try hards." These people are known as taking the game very seriously and are competitive. They use every means they can to win a game. I've also noticed that people will mass message recent players to see if people will play in private lobbies or join their clan. The often start with the same phrase in text which is "M2ARP" or in voice, "message to all recent players" to show this was not a personal message. It is just to see who wants to play, which usually means different or specific rules than what people play in public lobbies. I haven't joined any of these lobbies but I guess if I didn't have anything to do I might try it at a later time.
