Blog #7: Computerized Interactions

The two main computerized things I interacted with throughout the day were my computer (obvious, I know) and my blackberry. Here's a list of everything I encountered:
  • I definitely spend the day taking notes on my computer and surfing the Internet.
  • I also have a data plan on my phone so I constantly get email text messages and Facebook notifications.
  • I listen to my Pandora app (downloaded from the Internet of course) on the way to class every day.
  • I suppose I also took notes from Power Points that were projected from a computer in both of today's lectures.
  • The buses that I take also use a computerized type system to display the stops that are approaching.
  • I bought a sandwich at Grainger today and at the checkout counters they use a computerized system to ring up the order.
  • At work (I clean surgical suits at the UW Vet Hospital) I use the computers in each room to listen to music as I clean.
  • I think that is a pretty solid list of all of the computerized things I interacted with; it actually turned out to be more than I was expecting!
