Blog #5: Plants vs. Zombies

I have never been a fan of playing games on the internet. They lack appeal for many reasons, but mostly because they are so limited. The games are generally archaic in nature and have no redeeming value of a prize or the satisfaction of beating a friend. There would be no reason for me to play this game even if I were bored. If I were bored, I would go play a game on a real gaming system like xbox or PS3.

The game itself isn't even entertaining. Mostly because there is little interaction for the user. Sure I'm collecting the sun and placing the plants, but I don't get to do the shooting... The goal of the game is to kill the zombies, but the user doesn't even get to kill them. It's like playing a game of basketball, dribbling down the court, but not being able to shoot when you have the open shot.

  1. I can understand where you're coming from with bashing this game. I feel like many people just want the most up to date graphics and complex gameplay and a "real" game experience. That's obviously why people pay 50 bux for the newest console games but for a free timewaster on the bus this game could create some excitement in someones life for a few minutes. I would never play this game again and would definitely not pay money for the full version. Anyone who does clearly has too much money and time on their hands.
