So I continue my hunt to figure out exactly what it is that senior citizens do on the internet. I have already covered the fact that web designers make it as easy as possible for the elderly to navigate websites that contain most things they would want to do on the internet, however i have noticed something. All the websites i have looked at are aimed at 50+ not 65+. The internet seems to have slightly reestablished what senior citizen means. On that topic today i looked at a senior citizen dating website. I did not join because I personally am not going to pay to get hooked up with a woman age 30-99. However Seniormatch.com is a widely used website to link senior citizens who are now alone with others in the same situation. I did not think that they would use the internet for such interests but there are actually a lot of senior citizen dating websites on the internet right now. These are targeted at those who may have lost their significant other, or have been divorced etc. I know it is weird to think about, but i guess senior citizens need their lovin too.
