Practicum- #4 Norma Gallegos

I've completed my seven posts on Queerattitude (at this point have more that 7) and since then, I have made a couple friends. I also have access to other and more chat rooms than when I was only a guest. Being a member facilitates access to the website as whole. I'm able to see more featrues that the website offers, for example: blogs, galleries, and videos. The interaction with the community is obvioulsy deeper, you get to know and talk to more people, you are able to see more of them and their ideals. I decided to add more pictures and even videos of interest to the community, and I noticed under my privacy settings that I had my profile open. So I looked up myself on google to see if Iwas able to see my profile, but nothing showed up. I looked it up in different and especific ways, but didn't find it, so I was kind of surprised. It's a good sign for the safety of members, what it meant by open is that anyone that is either member or guest can see it. I'm working on the next stage which is to share more pictures, art, videos etc. As I stated before, they are a really interactive population, and it's interesting how they communicate throuhg art and other things besides words. I'm also trying to create a blog and become more active on the new things that I didn't have access to when I was a guest.
