I searched my name in two different ways. Since my name is long, most of the time I only use my first and last name, but I also use my entire name sometimes. I first searched "Norma Gallegos," didn't find too much with that, although I found an article from The Capital City Hues. They interviewed me last year when I graduated form Madison College and transferred to UW Madison. It was nice to find it again, I have it on print, but didn't expected to find it online.
I was a about to stop looking, but on the 5th page of google, I found an organization of which I was part of while attending Madison College. It was the Executive Leadership Team, which coordinated all the 50+ clubs at MATC. It was a cool experience, I must say.
Under this search, I also find my twitter account and my blogger profile, which showed everything! Not a big deal, but I was surprised.
Next I searched "Norma A. Gallegos Valles." First thing to come up was my profile on facebook, I could see nothing but my profile picture, so that's good I guess. I kept looking but just found people's profies with the same first and last (first of the two) name on fb. I was surprised that my profile on my space didn't come out, maybe because I don't use it anymore.
I found this very interesting, I had googled myself before, but hadn't gotten really into it. I like the fact that I found the article, and my participation in the ELT group. Those were positive findings. I didn't like the fact that my blogger is open, never had one before until now, so I may do some changes now that I know.
