History of the Internet vid

I thought that was pretty cool. I liked the way it was done, with the simple graphics and voiceover. I wonder why none of our readings have mentioned Cyclades, especially since that was where the term "internet" actually came from. It's fascinating to think how far we've come in such a short time. I'd also echo some of my classmates' comments about packet-switching and the technical aspects of the Internet that we don't know about yet are integral to everything we do online. Makes me wonder why we're required in high school to take physics and chem but not computer science - this is far more relevant to us.
