Practicum #7- Tony Porter

So I decided to join a private lobby that someone messaged me about, similar to what I was discussing in my previous post. This particular player wanted to play a snipers only lobby. This means he wanted everyone to use just a sniper rifle as the weapon they choose. It was fun for a little while but even though players say to use something not everyone abides. Some players were just using different guns, ones that would have an advantage over a sniper, so the kid was getting upset at people. I didn't particularly mind but I just wasn't having much fun so I left. These people not following "the rules" put in place by the main guy could be seen as a form of trolling. He was pretty upset so I guess they achieved their goal but this is why I tend to avoid these situations. In matches where the players make the rules I feel like most of the participants need to either be friends or at least acquaintances or rules will be broken.

Another networked aspect I checked out today was the theater mode. You can rewatch gameplays in theater mode and save particular clips and post them in a fileshare which other players can see. I had a what some might consider a "good clip" so I decided to upload it. I'm not sure if there is a way to check if people see it but I just thought I would try it out. I do think it is a cool idea to post your own stuff online for others to see. The participation from the community is usually a good thing.
