Throughout this time of being involved and participating on the different 3 sites (queerattitude, Yahoo!LGBT blog, and GLBT community forum) I found a lot commitment and participation from the LGBT community. However, queerattitude was a lot more serious, committed, involved, and respectful. Since Yahoo! was more of an open forum, it was less moderated and trolls were found more often than in the other 2 sites. Community forum was fairly moderated. I saw one or two trolls trying to get members engaged on controversial issues related to the community. But they were not very successful at getting members upset. I've spent a little more time on queerattitude and didn't find trolls. The site it's being moderated constantly, and I noticed because there were a couple posts getting off context and a moderator reminded them about the rules right away!
Overall, I found queerattitude to be a better community site for this community. The site is more organized and it offers a lot more to the members than the other two. Members participate more respectfully, they share, support and offer advices more than the others as well. Here are some topics so you can see the difference on these sites.
