Since I figured today would be my last day on the MOO, I decided to do something a little bit different. Things were starting to get redundant (see my last post) so I wanted some excitement in my experience. In the linen closet where I always begin, there is always a button on the wall. I have been way too nervous to press it before but thought I would give it a shot! I pressed the button and then plummeted down a trap door!
The thing I love about this mansion is even though things seem to be the same every time you can discover new things if you really “look” or read I should say. By pushing the button and leaving my comfort zone I actually entered into what has become my favorite room in the mansion! It was described as a gorgeous room looking over a pool (I didn’t know the MOO mansion had a pool!) with a fireplace, comfy couches and bookcases. There was a welcome poster on the wall and while reading it I realized that it was the message that I receive every time I connect to the MOO. I didn’t know it was an actual physical sign that I was reading. Interesting!
Another awesome thing that happened today is I tried to go one direction and I actually received a message stating that I don’t want to go that direction because they were windows. It guided me in the correct direction (to sliding glass doors). In the past I have just gotten messages saying “I didn’t understand that” or you can’t go that way. I have never received such a user-friendly message before – another surprise from the MOO. It is awesome how I learn something new every time I connect to the MOO no matter how much I think I know about the world. That I suppose is the main reason that people still plays these MOOS. Yes, it’s a way to be social but also a way to discover a new world and the secrets that lie within!
