After spending some time on my social networking sites, I have come to find I like one of them more than the others. Actually I have been addicted to my dailybooth! I love uploading a new picture everyday and seeing what others are up to. It is has been cool already looking back at my pictures from the beginning of the semester and say "ahh I remember that day..". Dailybooth is a catchy site that allows you to connect with complete strangers but nothing beyond a simple comment like "have a great day" or "looks like your having fun" or "feel better!".
The other site I have been spending time on is gotryiton.com. I haven't used this site as much as the others because I have my roommates to give me opinions on my outfits when I need them. This site is really only practical when you have no one around. However, I will give it that it is nice to get an outsiders opinion on an outfit. They give an unbiased opinion. I also like giving my opinion to others. However, there are those people that upload weird, random pictures that aren't even related to the site. Its pretty annoying so I've lately been reporting them because they are ruining the cohesiveness of the site. In other words, they are ruining other people's fun.
Finally, an update from eHarmony. This site is impossible to keep up with. I receive about 20 emails a day and some of the guys are not even close to my age. Although I don't respond to emails, I have been observing the overall culture of the site. Most people do seem really eager to get into a relationship but are cautious of everyone on the site. Like i said earlier, looks seem to be pretty important (which is pretty shallow, especially since I think personality is a big factor). I'm still figuring out some of the other features of the site because it is soo intense.
