Today all I interacted with was my computer and cell phone. While I am usually "plugged in" to my electronics. I also try to get out of the virtual world and live in the "real world". I don't like it when people are attached to their phones and have a text conversation with someone while you are trying to have a real conversation with them. I think sometimes we are too dependent on are phones. That is why sometimes I just put my phone aside and not pay attention to it. However, this upsets some people because they cannot get a hold of me. But sometimes I like to live in the moment and not have to worry about outside communication.

I wish I had your will power. I have accepted the fact that I am addicted to the internet in all forms. I find myself constantly on my phone when I am bored and it can get me in to trouble if I am not paying attention at the right moment. Maybe one day I will break the addiction but as long as these lectures I must attend stay as boring as they are (except Critical Internet Studies!) I will be using my phone in class from time to time.
