New MySpace logo.

I chose to do Chat Roulette because my roommates had never been on the site before and wanted to see what it was like! I've been on before so there were no surprises. I saw plenty of boys sitting in seductive poses/with their penises out, and as we discussed in class today, every single girl that I came across instantly next-ed me. I don't really think anyone uses the site for its original purpose - to connect people all over the world. Any time I've ever been on the site I just do it for the laughs. I get so used to next-ing all of the penises that even if I happen across someone I'm interested in talking to I usually end up accidentally next-ing them, too. I decided to look at MySpace a bit as well since Chat Roulette was nothing new to me. I hadn't been on in a long time and there were a lot of changes! I saw that they changed their logo (pictured above), but everything else seems just as trashy and annoying as it was before. Lots of girls holding the camera above their head to get a boob shot (I was going to post some examples, but...no one needs to see that). One thing I did notice is that there aren't too many boys on MySpace - other than on the music section. I do think that MySpace provides a nice space for bands who don't have the money to create a fancier website, but in the end I think that MySpace is going to be obsolete (or at least forgotten) in the near future.
