Video Response

A lot of the information in that video was new to me. Like others have said, it's pretty amazing how far the origins of the internet go back, and it's exciting to think about how far it may go in our lifetime if it continues to evolve. One thing that surprised me was how many nations played a part in what we conceive as the internet today. I guess that shouldn't be that surprising, but often Americans have bias when it comes things like that. I guess I just always assumed that the U.S. dominated the development of the internet because the two biggest computer related companies, Apple and Microsoft, originated here. I'm glad I learned about how worldwide the development of the worldwide web was. It did take a couple views to catch everything that the creator of the video was throwing at us. However, I think the video was very interesting and helpful.
